Fed some of my corals yesterday and woke up this morning with a fat......trachy :D

Hope this just means he is really happy!

lol a fat trachy is a happy trachy, least thats what it looks like with mine although I was a bit worried about it at first too.

A couple of photos of the Orange Fungia from Piscacara. First one taken yesterday 1 pm about 12 hours after receiving it in the mail, second one today at 4pm. Starting to fill out nicely. :D Sorry about the quality, taken on my phone!

It has puffed up even better than when it was in my tank so must like it there, now for the color to bounce back :worship

I have been overseas for the last six weeks, leaving the tank in the care of others. Got back to find i only lost one fish (Dispar Anthias) and one coral looking a little sad, other than that the tank just needs a good clean.

Bummer on the loss but sounds like they looked after things well.

Any loss sucks, but in the scheme of things one Dispar was quite acceptable. The temperature was extreme for a week or two, so I'm glad I installed the chiller before we went or things might have been different on our return.

Good to hear you have some good tank watchers. Those 2 weeks were pretty bad here, luckily I was off work sitting at home so the aircon was on eitherway.

Have ordered a pair of Spotted Mandarins, picking them up in the morning.

Its been a while since I last updated, so I took a few quick photos on my phone.
I replaced the Dispar Anthias that went AWOL while a was overseas only to lose the new one last night without a trace.
I think there might be something hunting at night!

I also thought I was getting a pair of Spotted Mandarins. I was told by the LFS they were coming but when I got out there to pick them up they didn't have them!

Not a great shot but needed to show Priscacara how the orange fungia is going.

Finally got my pair of Spotted Mandarins yesterday, seem to be settling in well. Just watching the eating to make sure they are getting enough. Photos to come!

At this point in time I am not adding anything, but am always happy for some advice. As for the lights I am still running the original 4x54w that came with the tank, but I am considering an upgrade to the Sunpower 6x54 soon.

I quite like the orange zoas in there. Nice tank!
